one was armed with a weapon. well, take a look at the video. this is video police responding to this shortly after the call came out at 1:00 a.m. it happened in the somerton section in the 14,000 block ofa. they broke into the home and tied up the couple and tied up their son. the intruders left the family of three tied up. the family returned a short time ago and tell "action news" off camera at least one intruder pointed a gun at them and after demanding money, the intruder said out loud they think they got the wrong home. all three family members were sleeping when they were awoken by the three perpetrators. at least one was seen with a gun in his hand. all three had masks covering their faces. all three were wearing gloves and they began ordering family

members to tell them where the money is. >> reporter: now, the intruders did take some cash from the son's wallet. this is a safe block. in fact the neighbors tell us a lot of people that live here, a lot of residence are police officers. five minutes ago we saw detectives coming out on the scene. if you have any information you are urged to contact police. reporting live in the somerton section of the city. annie mccormick channel 6 "action news" matt. thanks, anniee. a gunman fired a barrage of bullets in camden at 6th and bailey streets two people were taken to the hospital, one a woman in critical condition. a bullet hit the second victim, a man in the handle. the action cam was there as the police roped off the crime scene. new this morning, a driver crashed into a retaining wall in northeast philadelphia. the action cam on this scene on the 8900 block of the boulevard

after midnight. the driver lost control and hit a utility pole which sent the car flying into the wall. city inspectors arrived to check the integrity of the wall. no word on what caused the driver to crash. 5:05. four wilmington police officers will not be criminally charged of the shooting death of a man in a wheelchair. cell phone video captured the incident last september as officers shot and killed the 28-year-old. a delaware justice investigation found no probable cause to charge the officers, however, the doj released a scathing 31 page report highlighting deficiencies in the police department. they found the conduct by the policeman that was extraordinarily poor police work. he fired on the man.

mcdoll's family is moving forward with a civil case. president obama said public schools should allow transgender students to use bathrooms of their choice. the white house will be sending a directive to all public schools today they will tell them they must allow students to use locker rooms with their chosen gender identity. schools could face lawsuits or loss of federal aid. this comes a few days after north carolina and the federal government sued each other over the recent laws restricting bathroom use in public buildings. happening today, the 78th annual dad vail regatta takes over the schuylkill. it is the largest intercollegiate rogue event in the u.s. -- rowing event in the u.s. parts of kelly drive is closed until 6:00 p.m. tomorrow evening. traffic is detoured through fairmont park.
